Marmapuncture is based on correcting energy imbalances in the body.
Marmapuncture aims at restoring internal energetic balances of the body, displaced through daily stresses and strains of modern living such as diet, lifestyle, pollution and travel.
The application of sterile, single-use-only disposable needles on specific marma points, encourages the flow of vital energy between interacting marma points, their corresponding nadis and the chakra centres of the body, which govern overall health and well being.
Marmapuncture is similar to acupuncture treatments, costing just £75 for the first consultation and treatment. The needles are inserted on specific points and left for approximately 20 minutes before being removed.
Marmapuncture can relieve a wide range of symptoms associated with musculoskeletal pain or injury, chronic fatigue, bowel complaints (IBS) and indigestion, stress, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, skin complaints, asthma and breathing disorders, low/excessive appetite and infertility (male and female).
Marmapuncture is usually given weekly or fortnightly depending on the severity of the condition and the individual’s constitution. The Marmapuncturist will conduct a full Ayurvedic consultation to discern the client’s dosha needs, which will, in turn, determine the treatment prognosis, rationale and course.
